Anyone play any games where APM (Actions Per Minute) matter?
It varies what's good from game to game, but in HoN I can get around 210 APM on some characters while others I only get like 90 (Anything above 80 is acceptable though especially in long games)
It's a whole lot different in SC2 though, because micro managing is always important.

ReplyDeleteI'm no good at those kind of games.
ReplyDeleteVery insightful post, never really looked into APM.
ReplyDeleteI remember reading somewhere that more than half of pro SC2 gamers APM is just meaningless clicks
ReplyDeletelooks like too much work.
ReplyDeleteStarcraft?
ReplyDeleteHey that's really awesome! I just stopped by to show my support!
ReplyDeleteAPM does not necessarily equate to skill. However, better players tend to have higher APM simply because they have superior awareness and have the technical skills to react accordingly.
ReplyDeletegod damn, they are sick
ReplyDeletegood post, i think mirco'ing in a game like sc2 takes tons of skill, one slight hesitation could be the difference between winning and losing.
