Game review time!
I'm going to keep this short and sweet, because I want to get a new post, but don't want to spend much time on it.
To start off, i've been playing since the beta and boy has the game changed a lot.
S2 keeps their selves busy and constantly updates this game, which is a good and bad thing. If you take a month or so break from gaming, you'll come back and not know what to do. I recently came back to the game after a hiatus and there are HUGE game changes and hero changes.
They keep the game up to date with new content, but I think it needs to be fed out little by little so we don't have to relearn it all again.
The gameplay basically focuses on an initiator, supports and a carry, it's not always like that, but generally the main focus is to get one guy on your team geared up quick. This game has a huge learning curve from a pub to competitive.
Balance issues are out there, but S2 usually fixes them up fairly fast.
If you're looking for a good cheap game that will hold you over until DotA2, I would get this.
Kind of a lazy half assed post, but whatever.
hmm never heard of this one. i guess ill look into it........
ReplyDeleteI've heard of it, may take a look.
ReplyDeletewill check this out i usually play league of legends.
ReplyDeleteKinda a short review..
ReplyDeleteLoL is alot better, my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI played HoN in the beta and couldn't really enjoy it, dunno why.
DotA 2 will be awesome btw
It's got a high learning curve and bad community in general. I'd have included that in the review.
ReplyDeleteI love when stuff is imba. I disagree about being very behind if you stop playing for a month. Once you get the theory of how heroes interact with items, 2-4 new heroes/items doesn't make the biggest difference.
Just pick the most recently introduced hero/item, it's always the best. Soulstealer is the best, also.
